THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.29414 OF 2017 ORDER:

Complaining inaction on the part of official respondents and laxity in investigation with respect to crime No.224 of 2016 of Adilabad Rural Police Station, dated 22.12.2016, the present Writ Petition is filed.

2. Learned Government Pleader had produced written instructions, dated 07.09.2017, received from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Adilabad Rural Police Station.

3. As per the written instructions, the Investigating Officer had come to a conclusion that the allegations made in the First Information Report are false and a detailed report with respect to the result of the investigation has been submitted to the Superintendent of Police, Adilabad - respondent No.2 on 09.08.2017 seeking appropriate orders and as soon as the orders are received, necessary steps will be taken in accordance with Section 173 Cr.P.C.

4. Having considered the material on record and the submissions of the learned counsel for petitioner, inasmuch as the investigation is alleged to have completed and report is submitted to respondent No.2, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take decision on the report submitted by the Station House Officer on 09.08.2017 within a period of two weeks

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, ensure that necessary steps, as mandatory under Section 173 Cr.P.C., are taken under intimation to the petitioner.

5. Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ___________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J September 22, 2017 MD
