Shyam Prasad Reddipalli, v. State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.SUBHASH REDDY AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION No.7747 of 2015 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice R.Subhash Reddy) This writ petition is filed mainly on the ground that the President to the 2nd respondent - Telangana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission was not appointed and, as such, in the absence of quorum, C.C.No.42 of 2015 filed by the petitioners before the 2nd respondent has not been taken up.
When the matter is called for hearing today, it is stated that the 2nd respondent - Commission is now functioning, as its President is appointed during pendency of the writ petition and, therefore, requested to dispose of the writ petition permitting the petitioners to pursue their case in C.C.No.42 of 2015 pending before the 2nd respondent. In view of the above, granting liberty to the petitioners to pursue C.C.No.42 of 2015 before the 2nd respondent - Commission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
