When the matter is taken up for hearing, Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has informed the Court that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the case of the petitioners was considered and rejected vide proceedings dated 05.07.2021.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has not disputed about the said fact. However, counsel submitted that the rejection orders dated 05.07.2021 are passed by the 3rd respondent, who is not the competent authority, and as per the Rules, the 1st respondent is the competent authority and he ought to have passed orders on the representations submitted by the petitioners. 3.

In view of the above submissions, this Court is of the considered view that the orders passed by this Court have been complied and the Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. However, if the petitioners feel aggrieved by the rejection order dated 05.07.2021, they are at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law.
