THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.13159 OF 2018 ORDER:

In this writ petition, the main grievance of the writ petitioner is in respect of non-completion of investigation into the case in Crime No.183 of 2018 on the file of Chandanagar Police Station, Cyberabad registered against the respondents 4 to 7 on the report of the petitioner.

2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri T.Pradyumna Kumar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG), appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

3.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite registration of the crime, on a report disclosing serious cognizable offences, the investigation is not being expedited and therefore, the present writ petition is filed. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 17.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that the crime was registered on 21.03.2018 and detailed investigation is under progress. According to his submissions, the Investigating Officer assures the Court that the investigation will be completed and appropriate final report will be filed in the Court of the learned Magistrate concerned. 5.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer - respondent No.3, to expedite the investigation into the aforestated crime and file final report,

either way, by strict adherence to the procedure established by law as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
