THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.9121 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "... to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring action of second respondent in not selecting petitioners as Constables (AR)/(TSSP)/(SARCPL) pursuant to the Notification No.Rc.No.151/Rect./Admn.1/2015, dated 31.12.2015, despite securing higher marks than the last selected candidates as arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct respondents to select and appoint petitioners as constables (AR)/TSSP/SARCPL and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Services - I, on instructions, submits that all the petitioners are now found to be eligible to be appointed as Police Constables. According to him, petitioners 1 and 2 are eligible to be appointed to the post of Police Constables (Armed Reserve) in Ranga Reddy District, whereas 3rd petitioner is eligible to be appointed to the post of Police Constable (Special Police Battalion), without relevance to the reference of local status. He further submits that appropriate orders are being issued informing the petitioners about their eligibility and appointment. 3.

Having regard to the said submissions, no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
