THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.22833 of 2007 ORDER:

The petitioner challenges land acquisition proceedings initiated by second respondent in F.H.G./2/311/2007 dated 17.07.2007 proposing to acquire an extent of Ac.3.70 cents as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the mandatory procedure prescribed under the Land Acquisition Act.

2. The Assistant Government Pleader places on record the communication dated 28.08.2016 of the third respondent to the effect that the proposal to acquire the land is considered and decided to drop. The submission is placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of, interlocutory order is made final order and the petitioners shall not be dispossessed except in accordance with law. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
