THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39931 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 & 4 in pressurizing the petitioner and his family members to settle the dispute with the 6th respondent without there being any crime, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to pressurize or coerce the petitioner and his family members without any legal cause.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material available on record.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd and 4th respondents not to interfere with the dispute between petitioners and the 6th respondent without there being any case registered against the petitioners. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
