ORDER:

With the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Endowments for respondents 1, 2 and 4 and Sri A. Srikanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The petitioner claims to be a member of the founder family of Sri Moksha Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple, Ramateerthan, Ongole, Prakasam District. According to the petitioner, earlier his grand father and father were recognized as members of the founder family. After the demise of his father, the petitioner also applied for recognition as member of the founder family. A representation to this extent was submitted to the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department, Prakasam District (2nd respondent) on 27.08.2015 enclosing all the relevant documents, but so far, no orders are passed.

3. Having regard to the fact that the representation, dated 27.08.2015, submitted by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent is pending, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, directing respondents 2 and 4 to consider the request of the petitioner for recognizing him as member of the founder family of the 3rd respondent temple and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
