HON'BLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.4436 of 2019 O R D E R :

This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is filed by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with any crime being registered against him by the SHO, Undavalli Police Station, Jogulamba Gadwal District, for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.

It appears that there are some matrimonial disputes between the petitioner and his wife and on apprehension of registration of a crime basing on the complainant that may be lodged against him by his wife or inlaws, the petitioner has filed the present application seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the said crime.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent State submits that he has received instructions from the police authorities concerned that so far no case has been registered against the petitioner in Undavalli Police Station.

In view of the said submission, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner without there being any crime registered against him. However, if any crime is registered against him in future, the petitioner may approach the Court concerned seeking appropriate relief.

GSD, J Crl.P.No.4436 of 2019 With the above observations, this Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
