HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2369 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 to A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.326 of 2012 on the file of Additional Junior Civil Judge, Mangalagiri, Guntur District, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 12.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Tadikonda Police Station and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 05.07.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.326 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
