These writ petitions are filed challenging the intimation given by the Tahsildar and the District Collector to the registering authorities informing them not to undertake registration of the documents as petitioners' properties are included in the prohibited list.

Learned counsel for petitioners states that during the pendency of the writ petitions, Government issued notification vide G.O.Ms.No.215 Revenue (ASSN.I) Department, dated 13.05.2016, including the properties claimed by the petitioners as prohibited list under Section 22-A (1)(e) of the Registration Act, 1908. 3.

Learned counsel therefore submits that aggrieved thereby, W.P.No.41807 of 20116 is filed and in view of the subsequent Government notification, the cause in these writ petitions do not survive.

Recording the same, writ petitions are dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioners to contest the validity of inclusion of properties in the prohibited list in W.P.No.41807 of 2016. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
