UMA DEVI Writ Petition No.27706 of 2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Sri Ramesh Ranganathan) In this Writ Petition the validity of Rule 9-B(6) & (7) of the Andhra Pradesh Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966 as amended by G.O.Ms.No.42 dated 29.03.2016, as also the confiscation notice dated 24.07.2017 issued by the 4th respondent, are under challenge. Sri V.Roopesh Kumar Reddy, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner is no longer interested in challenging the validity of the Rules; and he intends to file a separate Writ Petition confining his challenge only to the confiscation notice dated 24.07.2017. He seeks permission to withdraw this Writ Petition, with liberty to file a Writ Petition afresh challenging only the confiscation notice dated 24.07.2017.
