It is the case of the petitioner that at the time of joining service, a mistake crept in while entering date of birth of the petitioner in the Service Register.

Petitioner made a representation dated 25.12.2017 to the 2nd respondent by producing Secondary School Certificate along with other records, for rectifying the date of birth of the petitioner as 02.01.1971 instead of 08.03.1963. As no orders are passed, present Writ Petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri B.Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. Since the grievance of the petitioner is already pending before the 2nd respondent by way of representation dated 25.12.2017, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with the Regulations.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
