Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise for respondents. 2.

It is stated by the learned counsel on either side that the issue in this Writ Petition is covered by the order dated 24.10.2016 in Writ Petition No.35785 of 2016.

Therefore, for reasons alike this Writ Petition is also allowed directing the vehicle i.e., Tata RX-Pick Up Van bearing Registration No.AP-15-TB-6780 to be released to the petitioner for interim custody, subject to passing of final orders in the main case, on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) with one surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, and subject to production of all the documents relating to the vehicle in question. The petitioner shall also give an undertaking not to sell, alter or alienate the said vehicle and produce the same as and when directed by the trial Court. However, this Order does not preclude the authorities concerned from proceeding with the confiscation proceedings. There shall be No order as to costs.

In consequence, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
