THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIPT PETITION No.27286 of 2016 ORDER :

Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents.

The learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, states that the order dt.30.07.2016 passed by 1st respondent will be withdrawn immediately pursuant to the letter dt.05.08.2016 issued by the Competent Authority, Chennai under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and further stating that fresh freezing orders might be passed pursuant to the order dt.05.08.2016.

3. In view of the said submissions, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous, and the petitioner is granted liberty to challenge any fresh freezing order which might be passed by 1st respondent. No order as to costs. 4.

It is needless to state that once the impugned order is withdrawn, the petitioner would be entitled to reside in the subject premises.
