THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR W.P. NO. 30058 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners 1 and 2 filed applications seeking conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural purpose and they remitted an amount of Rs.1,99,463/- and Rs.1,49,850/- respectively towards requisite statutory charges, but they are still pending with 2nd respondent without passing any order. Hence the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, accepts that the said applications are pending with the 2nd respondent.

Hence it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the applications of the petitioners 1 and 2 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
