This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in crime No.6 of 2016 on the file of the P.S., Rolugunta, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offences under Sections 20(b) and 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. On perusal of the entire material available on record, prima facie there are allegations against the petitioner, which are to be investigated into by the police. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings at this stage. The Criminal Petition is accordingly dismissed.
