This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not granting the higher pay scale applicable to the officers, who have continuously worked for 10 years in the same scale, as illegal and arbitrary.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation and that the respondent-company has already been wound up. Therefore, this Court is of the view that this writ petition cannot be adjudicated on merits. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
