HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.17372 OF 2009 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri K. Srinivas Murthy, learned counsel for the respondent. The main relief in this writ petition is complaining the action on the part of the respondent-Bank in denying the petitioner for the post of Permanent Sub-Staff/Peon on the principle of possessing higher qualification than the prescribed. This Court by passing interim order dated 21.08.2009 in W.P.M.P.No.22785 of 2009, directed the respondent-Bank to consider the candidature of the petitioner for permanent appointment to the post of Sub-Staff/Peon in the handicapped category in the existing vacancies without refusing on the ground of possessing higher qualification than the prescribed one forthwith. Inasmuch as, the main relief itself stands granted by virtue of interim order, nothing remains in this writ petition to pass further orders.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
