Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

On an application made by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the place of his father Sri J.Venkata Rama Rao, against land in Sy.Nos.319, 349/2, 350 and 360 to an extent of Ac.27.14 of Regonda Village Husnabad Mandal, Siddipet District, a notice was issued on 22.08.2017 by the Tahsildar, Akkannapeta, calling to respond to the request and to file objections if any. According to petitioner so far there is no further progress in pursuant to this notice.

If that is so, without entering into the merits of the issue, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the Tahsildar to finalize the claim of the petitioner strictly in accordance with Telangana State Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and the Rules made thereunder, after affording due opportunity to all the persons who claim to have interest. Such exercise shall be completed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
