HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION Nos.25316, 25334, 25341 & 25402 OF 2010 COMMON ORDER:

All these writ petitions are filed challenging the notification dated 23.09.2010, issued by the 3rd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer. Heard Sri Ch. Janardhan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleaders for Civil Supplies and Revenue (T.G). When all these matters are taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies placed on record the G.O.R.T.No.55 dated 12.05.2015 and also a Memo issued by the Commissioner of Civil Supplies, Telangana State, Hyderabad in CCS.Ref.No.PP1/1418/2015 dated 27.10.2015. In G.O.R.T.No.55 dated 12.05.2015, certain policy parameters have been specified in relation to granting of new fair price shop dealerships in the place of the earlier existing G.O.Ms.No.35 dated 17.09.2007. In G.O.R.T.No.55 dated 12.

05.2015, para No.3 specifies the number of cards with respect to each of the area i.e., G.H.M.C area, other Corporations, Municipalities, Nagar Panchayats and Rural areas. Further, in the Memo dated 27.10.2015 it is stated that till such time as the finalization of identifying and granting of new fair price shop dealership licenses in terms of In G.O.R.T.No.55 dated 12.05.2015, the existing fair price shop dealerships shall be continued and no action for appointment of new fair price shop dealerships shall be undertaken until further orders. Therefore, in the light of the G.O.R.T.No.55 dated 12.05.2015 and Memo dated 27.10.2015 issued by the Government of Telangana, all the writ petitions are liable to be closed.

Accordingly, all the writ petitions are closed giving liberty to the petitioners to agitate as and when any adverse orders are passed by the respondents in future. However, it is needless to mention that in terms of the G.O.R.T.No.

12.05.2015 and Memo dated 27.10.2015, all the petitioners shall be continued as fair price shop dealers till such time new arrangements are made as per the G.O.R.T.No.55 dated 12.05.2015. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
