IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD

FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH **** WRIT PETITION NO.8608 OF 2005 DATED 26th OCTOBER, 2015 Between:

Bharateeya Mint Mazdoor Sang and another .. Petitioners and Union of India, rep. by its Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, Coins and Currency, North Block, New Delhi and another .. Respondents

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.8608 OF 2005

O R D E R

Despite taking adjournments in this matter thrice, the learned counsel for the petitioners is unable to report to this Court as to whether the petitioners wish to pursue the matter at this late stage. Perusal of the prayer of the writ petition reflects that it was in relation to the notice issued on 24.03.2005 in the context of number of working hours to be put in by the staff of the Indian Government Mint. It is doubtful as to whether such instructions would still be applied now after lapse of over a decade.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs. ______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J 26th OCTOBER, 2015 Svv
