HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT Writ Petition No.31115 of 2016 ORDER:
Vide present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction declaring the action of the respondents in laying pipelines in the petitioner's land in Sy.No.470/ 2 situated in Mugdoompur Revenue Village, Karimnagar Mandal and District, without acquiring the same under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the aforesaid relief, the petitioner approached the 3rd respondent vide representation dated 21.07.2016, however, till date there is no response from their end.
3. Notice issued. Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (Telangana), accepted the notice on behalf of the respondents and has assured this court that the representation made by the petitioner shall be disposed of within the time stipulated by this court.
4. Keeping in view of the averments made in the writ petition and the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, I hereby direct the 3rd respondent to decide the representation dated 21.07.2016 made by the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The decision taken thereon shall be intimated to the petitioner in writing within one week thereafter.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this petition, shall stand closed.
