Adivaasi Students Union, v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI W.P.No.10919 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief:- ".... to issue an order or orders more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.4 herein in not passing order in pursuance of the representation of the petitioner dated 30-03-2015 to accord permission to conduct Adivassi traditional prayer and Public Meeting on 20-04-2015 at Adivassi Martyrs Statue, Indravelly (M&V), Adilabad District as illegal, unjust, arbitrary, unreasonable and violation of Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Heard Sri Chikkudu Prabhakar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government for Home for the respondents.
According to the material available on record, the only grievance of the petitioner herein is non-disposal of its representation, dated 30-03-2015. When the matter is called today, learned Government Pleader for Home has produced a copy of the order issued by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Utnoor, vide proceedings No.290/SDPO-U/2015, dated 19-04-2015, wherein permission has been granted for conducting Worship (Pooja) at Martyrs Statue on the event of Martyrs day on 20-04-2014 at Indravelly subject to the conditions stipulated therein. In view of the above development, this court is of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. For the aforesaid reasons and having regard to the permission granted by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Utnoor by virtue of the order, dated 19-04-2015, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J Date: 20.04.2015 Prv THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI
