HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.13396 OF 2018 O R D E R :

The case of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent issued notification No.49/2017, dated 12.09.2017 inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor, Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, along with other posts in various departments; and that the petitioner applied for the said post within the stipulated time. Thereafter, as per notification, certificate verification was done on 06.02.2018 and petitioner's certificates were also verified by the concerned in the office of the 2nd respondent; and that 2nd respondent did not raise any objection at the time of verification of certificates. Later when the list of candidates called for interview was displayed on 24.02.2018 in the net, petitioner's name was not found in the said list. Petitioner also submitted representations dated 08.03.2018 and 12.03.2018 to the 2nd respondent to consider her case. As no orders are passed on the said representations, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D.Balakishan Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent.

Since the grievance of the petitioner is before the 2nd respondent, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the case of the petitioner in terms of Rules and Notification.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 08.03.2018 and 12.03.2018, as per Rules and notification issued, and take action accordingly. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
