This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
"to issue a writ, order or direction more in the nature of mandamus directing to consider the case of the petitioner for admission into P.G. Course (Dravyaguna) in Dr. B.R.K.R. Govt. Ayurvedic College,
Hyderabad as an in service candidate against the seat reserved for S.C. for the academic year 2008-2009 by declaring the action of the respondents as without juristification, bad in law and also in violation of the provisions of Article 14, 16, 21 and 335 of the constitution."
At the hearing, Mr.A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2- University, submitted that as the academic course of the petitioner has been completed, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
The Counsel for the petitioner is not present to oppose this submission.
In the light of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2University, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, interim order, dated 15-11-2008, as extended by further orders, is vacated and WPMP.No.31895 of 2008 is disposed of as infructuous.
