HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 11274 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in terminating the services of the petitioner vide orders dated 01.08.2003, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. In view of the same, the relief of reinstatement sought by the petitioner at this point of time cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
