THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 7616 of 2015 ORDER:

The action of respondents 1 to 4 in allotting land admeasuring Ac.3-00 cents in D.No.1204 of Ankireddypalem village, Guntur mandal, Guntur district, to respondents 5 and 6, without initiating land acquisition proceedings and paying compensation, is questioned in this writ petition.

2. The averments in the writ affidavit are to the effect that the 4th petitioner is the owner of the land admeasuring Ac.3-00 cents in D.No.1204 of Ankireddypalem village, Guntur mandal, Guntur district, by way of succession. He alleges that the land has been taken over by respondents 5 and 6 for construction of electrical installations, without initiating land acquisition proceedings and paying compensation.

3. In view of the settled legal principles for issuance of mandamus, the petitioners are directed to approach the respondents setting out all the facts and making claim on them with all supporting documents, and it only thereafter the petitioners can approach this Court.

4. In that view of the matter, and in view of the allegation that the land in question was taken over by the respondents in the year 2007 itself, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the respondent authorities setting out his grievance in detail, with all supporting documents, and demand for compensation for the land. In case the respondents do not accede to his demand, the petitioners are at liberty to take appropriate legal steps, in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
