Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that her appeal preferred on 15.05.2019 acknowledged by the office of the Sub-Collector, Khammam, is not numbered and the proceedings in appeal are not taken up even after two months of filing of such appeal. The appeal was preferred aggrieved by the mutation of names of unofficial respondents in the revenue records on various extents of land in several survey numbers mentioned in the appeal.

Having regard to this limited grievance, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Khammam, the 3rd respondent herein, to verify the records of his office and if the appeal was received by his office on 15.05.2019 and is yet to be numbered, he shall assign appropriate number to the appeal and take up the appeal proceedings in accordance with the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 expeditiously by affording opportunity to all the affected parties.
