These writ petitions are filed challenging the proceedings initiated by the Deputy Registrar/Officer on Special Duty, District Cooperative Central Bank Limited, Eluru, West Godavari District notifying the petitioners' agricultural lands for auction for execution of the Award passed against the petitioners/judgment debtors. This Court by order, dated 02.08.2017, granted stay and directed the petitioners to deposit 50% of the demanded amount covered by the Execution Petition within one week, but, the petitioners did not comply with the said order. The said order was passed in order to verify whether there were any bona fides on the part of the petitioners in seeking stay. Since the petitioners did not deposit the amount, by virtue of the operation of stay, the auction could not be conducted resulting in unnecessary expenditure. In the circumstances and in the absence of any arguable point in these writ petitions, this Court has no other alternative except to dismiss the writ petitions.

The writ petitions are accordingly dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO,J Dt:28.08.2017 kdl
