HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3492 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/A4 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.134 of 2013 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kurnool, registered for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Women Police Station, Kurnool and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, C.C.No.134 of 2013 was registered and the same was ended in acquittal vide judgment dated 27.08.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.134 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
