THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.43337 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to register a crime pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioners dated 05.07.2016. The main grievance of the petitioners is that the Station House Officer, Tirupati East Police Station, Chittoor District-3rd respondent herein is not registering a crime though the petitioners lodged a complaint on 05.07.2016.

Considering the grievance of the petitioners, the 3rd respondent is directed to receive the complaint made by the petitioners dated 05.07.2016 and register a case against the culprits alleged in the complaint if the said complaint discloses any cognizable offence and investigate into the same and file a final report if any. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the 3rd respondent, they are at liberty to approach the superior officer of 3rd respondent and also to approach the concerned Court by invoking provision under Section 200 Cr.P.C. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 14.12.2016.
