THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.26775 OF 2017 ORDER:
Petitioner claims to be the absolute owner and possessor of land to an extent of Acs.24.32 guntas in various survey numbers of Katkapur Revenue Village, Raikal Revenue Mandal, Jagitial District. Petitioner claims to have submitted an application before the Tahsildar, Raikal Mandal, Jagitial District, the 3rd respondent, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattedar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') for mutation of his name in the revenue records and also for issuance of pattadar passbook and title deeds and accordingly paid the requisite fee in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder. Alleging inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent, this Writ Petition is filed.

Copy of Form VI-A application is enclosed as Annexure P-1 to the writ affidavit material paper book.

Since application is stated to have been filed by the petitioner and the same is pending since 10.04.2017, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition and keep the same pending.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner as stated in Form VI-A application and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of his decision, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. The 3rd respondent shall put on notice the interested persons, if any, before considering the claim of the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
