This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 25.06.2021 for extension of lease for the year 2021-22, since the petitioner has suffered loss in fishing due to COVID-I9 pandemic, however, the same has not been substantiated in the affidavit. Furlher, the petitioner is not entitled for extension of lease period as prayed for in his representation. With regard to any loss sustained, it is not for this Court to issue any directions in this regard. 3.
In view of the above, this writ petition is devoid of merit and it is accordingly dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take steps before appropriate forum with regard to the loss sustained in fishing. No order as to costs.
