ORDER
This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/A1 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.15 of 2016 of Gollapally Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 506 IPC and under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., against him.

It is alleged in the complaint that A1 with the collusion of A2 prepared a bogus patty in the name of A1 vide Book No.159 dated 03.11.2014, as if A1 sold 116 quintals of maize to the Society for an amount of Rs.1,51,960/-, based on which, the complainant issued a cheque bearing No.215742 dated 06.12.2014 in favour of A1 and the said cheque has been credited into the account of A1, who in turn withdrawn the said amount on 10.12.2014 and that during conciliation of accounts in the Society, the complainant came to know the same and when he was enquiring about the same, the accused threatened him with dire consequences. Based on the reference made by the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jagtial, the aforesaid crime was registered against A1 and A2.

Truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioner in the complaint cannot be decided at this stage. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioner/A1 and file a final report, if any.
4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
