CVNR, J & MSKJ, J W.P.No.44488 of 2016 04.01.2017 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of habeas corpus directing the respondents to release Mr.Ramisetty Bhanu Prakash - the son of the petitioner (hereinafter referred as 'the detenu') from the detention. 2.

At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (AP), on instructions, has submitted that F.I.R.No.216 of 2016 was registered against the detenu for the offences punishable under Sections 376 and 506 I.P.C. and that the detenu was produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate, who by order, dated 20.12.2016, remanded him to judicial custody.

Mr.Syed Khader Mastan, learned counsel for the petitioner, has not disputed the above submission.

In view of the aforementioned facts, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous, with liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate legal remedies for release of the detenu.
