THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.38041 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief:

"...declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not passing appropriate orders in Appeal No.ROC G 4503/2011 of the petitioner as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to law and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders forthwith in petitioner's Appeal No.ROC G4503/2011 and with all other consequential benefits."

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent in the year 2011, no orders are passed till today.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to pass orders at the earliest, provided the appeal filed by the petitioner is still pending. 5.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the Appeal No.Roc G/4503/2011 filed by the petitioner, within a period of four (04) weeks from today, if the same is still pending consideration.
