THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 25455 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent Station House Officer, Old Guntur Police Station has not registered the complaint given by him on 24.07.2017 despite the 2nd respondent Superintendent of Police, Guntur Urban endorsed thereon to inquire into the matter.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that pursuant to the endorsement made by the 2nd respondent Superintendent of Police, the 3rd respondent Station House Officer has made a preliminary inquiry and in fact, action taken report has been submitted to the 2nd respondent.

In those circumstances, the Writ Petiton is closed with a direction to the respondents to strictly follow the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in para 111 of its judgment rendered in Lalita Kumari v. Government of U.P.1. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
