HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI Writ Petition No.6590 of 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking to call for the records relating to and connected with the selection and appointment of the 4th respondent as Anganwadi worker of T. Cheruvupalli village, V.K. Padu Mandal of Nellore District, by the respondents in pursuance of the interview held on 29.12.2006 and declare the same as illegal, irregular, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and to set aside the said selection and appointment of the 4th respondent and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as Anganwadi worker of the said village.

As there was no representation for the petitioner on 17.09.2016, the matter was directed to be listed on 23.09.2016 'For Dismissal'. On that day, the learned counsel sought time and therefore the matter was adjourned to 21.10.2016.

On the previous date of hearing, 21.10.2016, Smt. M. Suguna, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that despite a letter addressed to the petitioner, there is no response from the petitioner; however, she sought time to have one more opportunity. Today, learned counsel reports that despite contacting the petitioner, she did not show any interest to prosecute the matter. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall also stand dismissed.
