O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners is that the 3rd respondent - Peddakalavala Gram Panchayat, represented by its Secretary, without issuing any prior notice, straightaway issued the impugned notices dated 12.07.2019 for demolition of the subject property of the petitioners.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for 1st respondent and Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3.

This court by interim order dated 01.08.2019 granted status quo for a period of one week. Since the complaint of the petitioners is that principles of natural justice have been violated, the writ petition is disposed of directing to treat the impugned notices, as show cause notices, and it is open to the petitioners to submit explanations within a period of two weeks from today, and on receipt of such explanations, the competent authority among respondents 2 and 3, shall consider the said explanations and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Till then, the interim order granted by this court on 01.08.2019, shall continue.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
