Heard.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent and his subordinates are interfering with the digging of open well in his land admeasuring Ac.1-20 gts., in Sy.Nos.473, 474 and 475 situated at Kannekal Village, Nidamanuru Mandal, Nalgonda District. Since there was no averment in the affidavit as to whether the petitioner has obtained any permission for digging of the said well, learned counsel for the petitioner was permitted to file additional affidavit and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue was required to get instructions. On instructions, the learned Government Pleader states that the petitioner has filed an application for grant of permission on 04-07-2015. In view of that, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the said application in accordance with the WALTA Act and pass appropriate orders expeditiously preferably within four weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
