THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.2011 OF 2017

O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the interim order dated 07.07.2015 passed in W.P.M.P.No.26541 of 2015 in W.P.No.20613 of 2015. By the said order, the District Collector, Ranga Reddy District, was directed to consider the representations dated 10.12.2014 and 19.02.2015 submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon within four weeks. This contempt case was filed on 22.09.2017 alleging that the interim order has not been acted upon.

It is now represented by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition that by Proceedings No.G2/4188/2017 dated 29.11.2017, the District Collector, Ranga Reddy District, considered the petitioners' representations dated 10.12.2014 and 19.02.2015 and held against them. A copy of the said proceedings is placed on record. In the light of the aforestated order, though there is delay on the part of the District Collector in complying with the order, this Court is not inclined to take a serious view of such a lapse as it is not shown to be willful or deliberate.
