This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioners contending that they are purchasers of Inam lands covered by TD No.1180 of Adavivaram Village covering old survey No.13 and new survey No.313(P) of the said village. Though they had made applications on 08.01.2010, 21.01.2010, 19.01.2010, 23.01.2010, 20.01.2010, 12.01.2010, 08.01.2010, 15.01.2010, 11.01.2010, 27.02.2010 and 13.01.2010 under Section 3 of the A.P. Andhra Area Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Riotwary) Act, 1956 (for short 'the Act') before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent has kept them pending without passing any orders thereon. Petitioners therefore seek a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider their applications in accordance with law to conduct an enquiry under Section 3(2) of the Act and then to pass orders under Section 3(3) of the Act.

Counsel for the petitioners also placed reliance on the order dt.14.07.2015 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24370 of 2010 wherein a similar Writ Petition was disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the applications in accordance with law within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date or receipt of a copy of this order.

Though an elaborate 35 page counter affidavit is filed by the learned Government Pleader, having regard to the earlier order dt.14.07.2015 in W.P.No.24370 of 2010, the learned Government Pleader also stated that this Writ Petition can also be disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the applications made by the petitioners referred to above in accordance with law within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

Therefore, without going into the merits of the case of either the petitioners or the official respondents or even the impleaded respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the above referred applications of the petitioners to conduct enquiry under Section 3(2) of the Act and to pass orders in accordance with law under Section 3(3) of the Act within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is given to the impleaded private respondent, if he so chooses, to get impleaded in the enquiry to be conducted by the 2nd respondent to present his claim. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
