HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 9725 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the proceedings in Case No.D2/1791/2011, dated 7.7.2014 passed by the third respondent as illegal and

contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Record of Rights in Lands and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971.

The petitioners challenge the impugned order on various grounds. However, considering the fact that there is an efficacious alternative remedy available under the statute by way of revision to the Collector, I am not inclined to entertain the present Writ Petition.

In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the revisional authority-second respondent by way of preferring revision against the impugned order within a period of two weeks from to day. If the petitioner approaches the revisional authority-second respondent by way of revision as directed above, there shall be interim suspension of the operation of the impugned order dated 7.7.2014 passed by the third respondent for a period of four weeks and thereafter the petitioner may seek appropriate relief from the second respondent in the revision or accompanying stay petition that may be filed by him. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence.
