This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "... to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Orders, Direction or Directions to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to act in accordance with law and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to proceed in any manner against the building bearing No.4-13-21, Main Road, Koritepadu, Guntur, belonging to the petitioners, including any demolition in the guise of road widening without following due process of law, and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The petitioners apprehend that without following due process, the respondent - Corporation is likely to demolish their property on the ground that a piece of the said property is required for widening of the road leading to Lakshmipuram Junction to Koritepadu Library Junction.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation states that the respondent - Corporation would follow due process before evicting the petitioners from the subject property.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent - Corporation to follow due process of law, if they require the property of the petitioners for any public purpose. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
