ORDER:
This writ petition is filed feeling aggrieved by order, dated 10.04.2015, in O.A.No.9745 of 2012 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad (for short, 'the Tribunal'). The petitioner retired from service as Superintendent of 13(a) Battalion NCC, Visakhapatnam on 31.12.2009 on attaining the age of superannuation. His claims for encashment of Earned Leave, final payment of G.P.F and pre-revised pension were sanctioned after 2 months 9 days, 3 months 19 days and 2 months 9 days respectively, from the date of his retirement. As regards the differential payment of gratuity, commutation of leave and service pension as per the Revised Pension Rules, there was some delay ranging between 10 months to one year 15 days. The petitioner approached the Tribunal for payment of interest for such delays.
Having considered the reasons assigned by the respondents, the Tribunal has rejected the claim of the petitioner. On careful consideration of the reasons assigned by the Tribunal, which are sound and convincing, we do not intend to take any different view from the one taken by the Tribunal.
Therefore, we do not find any merit in this writ petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the writ petition, WPMP Nos.10633 & 10647 of 2016 filed by the petitioner for interim reliefs stand disposed of as infructuous.
