THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.13646 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

Assailing the order of cancellation of Fair Price Shop Dealership, the petitioner herein filed a statutory appeal before the Joint Collector/3rd respondent herein. Pending the said appeal, the petitioner herein filed W.P.No.10227 of 2016 and this Court disposed of the said Writ Petition by way of an Order, dated 30.03.2016, directing the appellate authority to dispose of the appeal within a period of four weeks. Thereafter, the Joint Collector/3rd respondent herein passed an Order on 30.12.2017 vide ACD Dis.No.7/2016-S7 confirming the orders of cancellation passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer. Aggrieved by the said orders, the petitioner herein filed a revision and also a suspension petition before the 2nd respondent herein/revisional authority on 12.01.2018. The grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that no orders have been passed, despite lapse of considerable length of time, in the said revision or in the suspension application.

It is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that some reasonable time may be granted for the revisional authority to dispose of the revision.

Taking into consideration the totality of the circumstances and the nature of controversy, this Court deems it appropriate to

dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent/revisional authority to pass appropriate orders on the revision dated 12.01.2018 filed by the petitioner herein, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving opportunity to the petitioner herein.
