This writ is filed to declare the action of the respondent in not correcting the date of birth of petitioner as 10-12-1982 instead of 25-021975 in the passport bearing No.G-9912518 as illegal and arbitrary. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that he has already circulated a letter dated 11-04-2016 to the Registry seeking permission to withdraw the writ petition.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
