THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE Mr. JUSTICE M. GANGA RAO Writ Appeal No.871 of 2016 Judgment: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) This appeal, under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent, is preferred against the proceedings dated 17.8.2016 in W.P. No. 23728 of 2016 issuing notice returnable in four weeks, and in directing that the writ petition be posted for hearing in February, 2017. Sri Tarun G. Reddy, learned counsel for the appellants, submits that, since the learned Judge had posted the matter for hearing in February, 2017, it would suffice if the appellants-writ petitioners are permitted to agitate their grievance in the Writ Petition, and the learned Single Judge is directed to take up the Writ Petition for hearing at an early date.

It would be wholly inappropriate for us to decide the board of the learned Judge before whom such matters are listed. We have, however, no reason to doubt that, on a request being made by the appellants-writ petitioners for an early hearing, such a request would be given its due consideration.

The Writ Appeal is dismissed as not pressed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
