THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM SUO MOTU CONTEMPT CASE No. 331 OF 2017 O R D E R:

Suo Motu Contempt Case has been initiated on 17.02.2017 for violation of the order dated 06.01.2017 in W.P.M.P.No. 1136 of 2017 in Writ Petition No. 1030 of 2017, wherein this Court directed the Assistant City Planner, Circle X, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to file a report dealing with the allegations of the petitioner in the writ petition and if he comes to a prima facie conclusion that illegal constructions are carried out by the 4th respondent, he should ensure that the 4th respondent does not make any further constructions.

Learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation Sri P. Keshav Rao submits that though there was some delay in complying with the order dated 06.01.2017, the same is not wilful and intentional. Now, since the report called for by this Court has been filed, he prays for closure of the Contempt Case.

Considering the fact that the Suo Motu Contempt Case was initiated for non-compliance of the order dated 06.01.2017 and also considering the fact that the same has been complied with now, the Contempt Case is closed, however, with a warning to the respondent Assistant City Planner that they should have much more respect to the Court orders and shall implement the orders of the Court in its letter and spirit. Hereafter, if any lapse on the part of the officials of the Corporation comes to the notice of the Court, it is needless to say that the same will be viewed seriously and no lenience will be shown.
